The only Waikato company licensed to construct Duracrete water tanks
Founded in 1948, Bowers & Son Ltd is a family-owned and operated business located in Te Awamutu. Three generations of Bowers have served the Waikato and Bay of Plenty rural and building sectors for more than 70 years. Currently run by directors Jeff and Robyn Bowers, their nephew Scott Hill and his wife Rebecca (having taken over from Scott’s parents Glenice and John Hill), and Jeff and Robyn’s son Lachlan Bowers, the business was started after World War II by Jeff’s grandfather Howard Bowers and father Raymond Bowers. All of Jeff and Robyn’s three children have worked in the family business.
Bowers & Son Ltd is the only company in the central North Island that holds a license to construct Duracrete water tanks. Duracrete uses an award-winning technology that results in a strong, durable and healthy solution for holding household water. Dairy farmers, developers, plumbers and drainlayers involved in the rural, commercial and residential areas are invited to contact Bowers & Son Ltd today.
